TOO MUCH FUN !!!!

I just experimented with some purchased cyanotype fabric. I know, I know - another project that requires our elusive sun, especially since it is best done in the warmer months when the sign is directly overhead. I was never one for following instructions very well.
So on a cold day I found a wee patch of sun on the driveway around noon and left the fabric out for 30 minutes, then rinsed the it in plain water. Since the fabric is $$$ I tried just a small test with two discarded crab shells found on the beach at First Landing State Park and a bit of sea fan.
Positively levitating over the beautiful blue! Ok, I'm a tad biased since blue is my favorite color, but this is such an intense shade. I LOVE it and can't wait to try some more. Sadly one of my crabs self- destructed after giving its all for such a wonderful image. Oh, the wabi-sabi of life.

  1. Considering what kind of day it was....I think you got great images. Love the crabs and especially the beautiful coral pattern to the left.
