After Hurricane Sandy

You asked about how things looked AFTER the hurricane. The State Park looked very much the same as before the storm, but Pleasure House Point was a different story.

The storm pushed the tide from the Lynnhaven River way up and over the banks so that the open area where the PHP Ribbon Cutting and Lynnhaven River NOW  held their Fall Festival was now a pond. Mother Nature reminds us that water is a more powerful force that we and all are best intentions are.
