The Christmas Parade at the Oceanfront Saturday night was the Moody Crewe's last event for 2012. Captain Whitebeard sailed his ship, festooned with lights and candy canes, down Atlantic Avenue pulled by eight seashorses with his band of plundering elves on board. You know Captain Whitebeard, Blackbeard's kinder brother? He comes from the North Pole and says "Ho, Ho, Ho" instead of "Yo Ho, Ho." Plus he gives away instead of taking. If you look in your heart this season I'm sure you'll see him - and Mrs. Whitebeard, too.
