Playing in the Studio

Now that Christmas has passed I can 'fess up to what I've been doing for the past couple of weeks. I'm trying to get better about photographing things before they go out the door (missed a couple), and remembering to sign my work. This is a HUGE step since I've always been shy and stayed in the background.
My challenge to myself was that everything had to be made with materials I already had - no purchasing any new fabric or thread. So here is an assortment of bookmarks, bags, and scented sachets. All, it appears, while channeling my inner Caribbean. Oh...and one pirate gift for the Moody Crewe gift swap. Can you guess which one?

    This is a lovely collection of colors and a great example of using what you've got on hand...of course most of us don't have the fabo collection of fabrics that you've stashed away...cool to see the way you're using them.

    The Motley Crewe gift for the swap is a winner.
