I'm taking a painting class at the peninsula Fine Arts Center in Newport News and one of the wonderful ladies in my class lent me this video. It was produced in 1994, but the message is very current. If all of us are involved in creative expression the world will be a beautiful place to live. I can't help but think about all the problems facing us in the 21st century, and how much our environment affects our attitudes. Is living crammed into wall-to-wall pavement beautiful? Does it make you feel good about your life, the world, and the other residents of our small global village?
This video is not really about learning to paint, but more about learning to be expressive, and good citizens of the earth. We have a big responsiblity to create beauty...and by extension peace and harmony.
