Al and I (and Saffron) spent an idyllic getaway in Chincoteague, Virginia to celebrate aour lucky 13th anniversary. We stayed in a charming B & B called the Channel Bass Inn with delightful innkeepers Barbara and David. Barbara is English and has the most beautiful English garden right in the heart of downtown Chincoteague. It was such a relaxing respite it washard to belive we were only there overnight. By the way, Barbara is a fantastic cook!!! If you ever get the chance to stay there, or enjoy her Tea Room, don't pass it up!
We were within walking distance of unique little shops and places for dinner (NO CHAIN STORES HERE, THANK GOODNESS!!!). And the weather was perfect, too.
