We have had such a strange week house hunting we nicknamed it the "Real Estate of the Weird Tour" for the bizarre design features we have witnessed. Please forgive the overused phrase, but WHAT WERE THEY THINKING when the owners perpetrated these design features on their poor unsuspecting houses? It helps to keep a sense of humor about the pursuit of a home, so the above cartoon from Pearls Before Swine in yesterday's paper really struck a note. At least we haven't seen one of these yet!
Needless to say we have removed the word "quirky" from our dream house wish list.
