Birthday Trip to OBX

October seems to be the month to celebrate birthdays! This past weekend was another girl's trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina for a birthday getaway. The weather was mostly cooperative and we only had to dodge one rain shower. Our stay in Nags Head had the most beautiful view of the ocean, even if it was too cloudy for a sunrise or sunset. We visited Manteo, Bodie Island Lighthouse, did some shopping, and highly recommend Sunday brunch at Food Dudes in Kill Devil Hills (at mile post 9). Another delightful trip with plenty of water infusions!
