The Textures of Nature

No matter how many times I walk on the beach I'm always fascinated by the textures Mother Nature creates in the sand. Water and wind create envious patterns out of a simple material like beach sand. Especially when you have the two different colors of sand, like on Pea Island in North Carolina, the pattern really pops. Now to apply this concept to my own work... But first, I need to clean up my messy workspace so the Muse and I can find a quiet space to think.

  1. These are beautiful..are they drawings? I am so glad that I found your post. For some reason it does not come up on my dashboard. I have you listed as one of my blogs to follow, but the only way I can get to your blog is by typing in your blog address in my address bar.

  2. These are such beautiful patterns!! It really is a thrill to see the endless variations that the water brings.

I also, like Kay, have a difficult time getting into your blog. I have to search it out and it won't let me do a simple 'follow'...maybe we can solve that mystery.
